these types of secateurs are absolutely great. We recently lopped lower a tree and wanted to compost as much as we could. They go through quite a few levels of thicknesses effortlessly and leave no jagged edges as well as the ratchet mechanism makes the work so easy. One observe of caution though: don't make sure to cut loads of items at once without wearing gloves. the hand was covered within blisters, but that was my fault - I wanted to give you that boost as quickly as i really could. Excellent buy.
